The advantages to this product include less battery drain than one would have if they were using a bluetooth headset and more volume since you're not limited to the volume of a bluetooth unit. The downside is that it's wired which means that if you don't either disconnect the control switch from the lower wire or remove it from the grip when you get off of the bike, the wires can become damaged. The sound is nice and clear but make sure that the speakers have optimal placement in the helmet.

I got this product for my full face helmut last year. It's been a joy to own and use. The sound quality from the mic is great and the speakers are even better. Whether I'm doing handsfree talking on the road connected to my iphone, or playing music, this product (esp. for the price) is fantastic.

My son who lives in the USA brought this to me in the good old UK. The price is VERY good indeed. I mount the iPhone on the handle bar using a Velcro arm band. I have an ex- cop bike so found a place to permanently mount the switch and taped the wiring to the handle bar. It was easy to fit speakers in the helmet and the sound quality for both calls and listening to iTunes is perfect. The boom mic fits neatly into my flip up full face Schubert C3 and it's easy to reposition. With an iPhone you can give it voice commands: "Dial Frank home" or "Play Stuart Townend". Even though I have a big windscreen it will only pick up voice commands when I am going very slow. There is no volume control through the IMC controls (unless I have missed it somehow) and as the phone and iTunes are at different volume levels it is a bit annoying. An incoming call may be faint. It can be adjusted through the volume button on the iPhone but this is not easy. I ride 6/700 miles per week the background Christian music is helpful I have NEVER set it too loud to drown out the sound of traffic etc. I do a lot of motorway (Highway) riding but also heavy city traffic. For the money it is worth it and I would give it 8 on 10. If it had a volume control 10 on 10.
