For me, the music was the most important issue and finally Bluetooth 2.0 allows quality stereo from an iPod, XM satellite or any audio player. IMC ( Benchmark Helmets) offers the Camos, a Bluetooth communications system that will fit into virtually any helmet, Full face, 3/4 and even a Shorty. I’m in the fast lane, rockin to Nirvana and a beep interrupts the music, I wait, silence, then loud-n-clear I hear my girlfriend. Hello, she states, Hi, I reply, Where are you? she queries, On the 60 freeway in the diamond lane crusin at 80, I smugly reply. I thought you were taking the bike?... I did. The motorcycle blog mymotorcycletravels.com (great name by the way) recently reviewed the iMC Camos BTS 300 Bluetooth Helmet Headset and intercom. It is probably the most well written review in terms of descriptive writing. Whereas the webBikeWorld review focused more on the application and capabilities. Also check out the link to the blog below as the author provides other great posts about riding in the great state of Ohio. Quotes are below. The speakers need to be right over your ear canals, which I took great care in doing when we installed the units. I cannot listen to my music with the volume all of the way up (unless using Pandora, which seems to provide a very low audio level for some reason). When I receive a phone call, my music automatically pauses, and i take the phone call, then my music resumes when I hang up the call. I placed the windshield all of the way down on the BMW R1200 RT and she could hear me just fine at 65 MPH. I am not a scofflaw that would go speeding down the freeway, but I am an amateur scientist, so in the name of science, I took the liberty of testing my Camos BTS-300 intercom on a phone call at 80 MPH and still was asked by a friend “Are you really on the motorcycle?” I have no problems hearing the people that call me. The sound is probably as good as my cell phone can deliver.

Many people often ask how well products work at speed. The Honda ST1300 is perhaps the top sport touring motorcycle in the world, and the users of the forum especially like the MIT100 intercom for rider to passenger intercom, as well as music and cell phone. Of course a lot of sport touring rider ride in groups so it let's you communicate with as many riders as you want with a good two way radio, and since the kit includes radio adapters for popular GMRS/FRS and CB Radios you can experiment on getting miles of communication range. The most revered motorcycle review website recently completed a review of the IMC Motorcom BTS 300 stereo Bluetooth motorcycle helmet headset. The review included multiple parts in which the WebBikeWorld staff tested all products extensively and reported gave the Camos BTS 300 Ratings of Excellent and Very Good in all subjective categories. While the review did not include specific applications that many motorcycle riders use such as using the D1000 or BTA with the Zumo in order to unlock stereo Bluetooth functionality, it did cover in depth, just about everything else and we are looking forward to subsequent reviews.
Check out the reviews for yourself and see why the Camos BTS 300 is the unit of choice for the WebBikeWorld staff (according to the review).
